We are ready!

We have our PCT permit with a start date of April 25, as well as our U.S. visa, which allows us to stay in the United States for six months.

Our gear is ready. We have a tent, sleeping bags, sleeping pad, stove, eating utensils, a satellite messenger with GPS, UV-protective clothing for the Mojave Desert, warm clothing for the cold in the Sierra Mountains, and rain gear for the Cascade Mountains when we reach Washington State.

Our training is on track. This summer, for instance, we completed a trek around Mont Blanc, covering 170 kilometers and 9,500 meters of elevation gain in 10 days.

Our planning is in place. We aim to hike around 30 kilometers per day, and with rest days factored in, we expect to reach the Canadian border by approximately October 1.
